We can handle all criminal matters.  Britt has a proven record of success at trial.  We handle DWI matters, assaults, thefts, criminal sexual conduct charges, controlled substance crimes, and violations of protective orders.  We understand the stress felt by our clients who are facing criminal charges, and pride ourselves for our empathy and experience in helping our clients.

Family Law

We have over twenty years of experience handling all family court matters.  Whether you are facing a divorce, need to establish custody or parenting time, or looking to establish child support, we can help you.  Britt can help with grandparent visitation, step-parent adoption, and name changes.  We have tried many family court matters, and are familiar with local procedures, judges, and other attorneys.

Juvenile Justice

We have experience with all juvenile matters, such as truancy cases, Child In Need of Protective Services (CHIPS) matters, and juvenile delinquency matters.  Britt is passionate about helping children so they have the best possible chance at a safe and happy adulthood.

Protective Orders

We handle Order for Protection and Harassment Restraining Order matters.  Britt has significant experience representing people who need to seek a protective order for the safety of themselves or others, and in defending people who are fighting against the issuance of a meritless protective order.  Britt understands the collateral consequences and risks of allowing a baseless protective order to be issued.

Guardianship and Conservatorship

We represent caregivers as well as the people they protect in contested guardianship and conservatorship matters. These are cases where a vulnerable child or adult needs help to stay safe and happy, but not everyone agrees on what that help looks like or who should be responsible.  Britt's number one concern in handling these matters is to make sure the vulnerable person's needs are put first.
